A Winederful Wedding Gift

January 31st, 2012 at 5:33 pm

I stumbled upon this great gift idea over the weekend and thought I would share! I am always having trouble gifting close family and friends that perfect gift… Its a wooden box that holds three bottles of wine to be opened on the couples first, fifth and tenth wedding anniversary and enjoyed. Something you know they will cherish over the years and a wonderful idea because wine always is a little better with age! Its also a gift that would be great pared with a set of Ridel glasses ! The giver can also inscribe a special keep sake note on the inside of each panel… I just love the idea that Great Grandma can give a gift that can be enjoyed in the present even 10 years into the future. How special would that be… getting a special note 10 years after your wedding and maybe even after a loved one is no longer with you. {{Feel free to wipe the tears from my cheek! }}

You can shop different box designs here ~ and boxes start at only 55 dollars… you cant beat that! You can also purchase the boxes alone or pick from their wine selection ! Be sure to peek at more photos on Wine For A Wedding website!

Amelia & John {The Wedding}

November 11th, 2011 at 2:02 pm

In honor of Veterans Day today I would like to feature Amelia & John.

John serves in the United States Navy and today we would like to thank him & all of the men & women past present & future for their service.

Amelia & John were married on August 20, 2011 at Presbyterian Church of the Master. Their Reception was held at the beautiful Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano {The Brides home town}

Although Amelia was born and raised in sunny California her parents {who are from the South} raised a true Southern lady and while in Spain she found herself a true Southern Gentleman. John was raised in Texas. Amelia & John’s love story has one incredible beginning… and their wedding was nothing but incredible. Throughout the planning process Amelia & John never loss sight of the real meaning of their big day and never once did they sweat the small stuff. Amelia’s wedding was timeless and classic, from her bridesmaid dresses to the floating crystal chandeliers that dangled above the reception courtyard… every detail was perfectly understated.

The night was complete with an electric blue after party and a midnight snack from In-N-Out! The perfect ending to the perfect evening.

Kate & Kevin {The Wedding}

November 9th, 2011 at 4:58 pm

Kate & Kevin were married on July 31, 2011 at Casa Romantica in San Clemente on a beautiful summer evening.

Upon arriving at the venue Kate burst into tears of joy!  She was overjoyed with how her vision had been brought to life right before her eyes. It was such a pleasure to watch from background as two people promised forever to one another with such pure  hearts… Kate was a stunning Bride and the look on Kevin’s face as she made her way down the stairs towards him was magical.

This particular wedding is one of my most favorites to date. Every moment of working with Kate was such a fun and creative experience and  her personality was perfectly reflected in the details of her day.

Soft…. romantic and perfectly understated.

This weekend Moment Prive’s very own Ashley got married. The best part of it … she married my baby brother. I am so blessed to now be able to call her family.

It was a breath taking affair. She was a stunning bride… words can not describe the emotions felt as I watched my brother marry his perfect match.

Here is a sneak peek taken with my iPhone.

Kate & Kevin {Real Love}

September 2nd, 2011 at 8:25 am

Meet Kate & Kevin.

These two love birds were married on 7.31.11 and while we patiently await their beautiful photos from their big day… here are some photos from their gorgeous LA engagement session with Orange County photographer Wai Reyes. {If you have not seen her work be sure to visit her blog… its out of this world}

Kate is one of the sweetest and sincere people I know. Wai captured her genuineness perfectly. Although I did not get to spend much time with Kevin during the planning process {He is stationed in Nebraska and serves in the Air Force} All it took was  one afternoon  that it became instantly apparent these two balance one another perfectly. They are each others perfect fit. Like cookies & milk or peanut butter & jelly. The two where born for one another.

Such a great photo of Kevin !

Kate was absolutly stunning & a beautiful Bride on her wedding day.

I can hardly wait to share their wedding day photos with you.

Jenna & Chad {Real Love}

August 23rd, 2011 at 1:41 pm

Meet Jenna & Chad.

Chad just so happens to be one of my husbands best friends. After college they lost touch… & over the years I had heard Chad’s name from time to time but it wasn’t until I found his business card and attempted to throw it out I realized how much Chris missed Chad. {awwwww man love} Well fast forward to June of “08 at my college graduation. Chris had ran into {the} Chad and boy did he light up like a five year old on Christmas morning. Chris explained that Jenna & I where in the same Liberal Arts program.He was so excited to have reconnected… but it wasn’t until a year and six months later at their alumni Christmas party in ’09 when this full fledged bromance rekindled its flame. Jenna and I quickly became fast friends and it wasn’t long that we realized the two of us had fallen from the same tree. Today Jenna is one of my most cherished friends.

Lucky for us there is nothing the four of us like to do more than spend time together chatting over sushi & cocktails.  Our foursome is a friendship for the ages… like the Flintstones & the Rubble’s, or the Ricardo’s & the Mertz’s… {not sure who is who… but you get the idea}

These two lovely people are getting married on September 17. I have been dying to blog their photos for months but have not been able to come up for air.     {As you can tell by this neglected step child of a blog} But now that I have a free minute I wanted to spoil all 7 of my readers {Hi Mom, Grandma, and all my beautiful brides} with this delectable eye candy from photographer Valerie Fox {Be sure to check out her work… its AH MA ZA ZING}

These two have a love like no other. You cant help but smile & be happy when your around them. Their love for one another is infectious.

.Chris & I are blessed to be apart of their big day.
